Free Homebuyer Education Workshop – Genesis Housing Development Corp

Genesis is HUD-Certified and offers six-eight hours of extensive and up-to-date information on current housing markets and trends as well as guidance to make informed decisions toward ownership.

Covered topics: Financial planning and Money management; Understanding Credit; Steps to Homeownership; and Mortgage options. This program also focuses on home ownership opportunities and retention efforts (foreclosure prevention) as a means to creating a stable community and families.

Note: Completion of a HUD-Certified Homeownership Workshop is a requirement to qualify for the Micro Market Recovery Program $15,000 Purchase Assistance Grant Program offered by the City of Chicago. This workshop meets the requirement.
