Come join other Greater Chatham residents for GCI’s On The Table conversation “Blackish and Black: How to bridge the class divide in Greater Chatham”. Pull up a chair and be apart of this intimate discussion of our perceptions of “the other” and what we need to do as a community to effectively live together. Your voice and experience matter so make them heard! This event takes place on Tuesday, May 16, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Urban Partnership Bank, 7801 S State Street, 2nd Floor, Chicago, Illinois. The co- moderator is from Chatham resident Jahmal Cole from My Hood. My Block, My City. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and is open to 20-30 people. We would like a mix of baby -boomers, Gen Xers, Millennials, and Generation Y. Therefore we reserve the right to refuse some registrants so we can get a good cross section of residents.
To participant, Click the RSVP to register. We look forward to having a meaningful conversation about the issues our community care about most. We look forward to having you join us.
